Character

A small enclave with one way in

Cascada de Camoján sits on the lower slopes of La Concha, north of the AP-7 and directly above the Golden Mile [1,3]. Sierra Blanca is its neighbour to the west. It is a separate community with its own access and security [3].

It is small. There are eight numbered streets and a limited number of villas [1,3]. The roads end inside the enclave, so nobody drives through [3].

Security is run by Fort Security Spain: 24-hour surveillance, patrols and barriers at both entrances. Visitors need a resident’s authorisation [1,3].

Plots are large: from about 1,000 m² to over 10,000 m² [2,4]. Villa styles range from Andalusian cortijo-style houses to contemporary flat-roofed builds [3]. Three apartment and townhouse developments sit inside the boundary, including Imara (2002) [3,4].

Asking prices for villas listed here are among the highest in Marbella [4]. Price per m² to confirm.

Green & outdoors

Forest, a stream and a trail

Protected land rises to the north and cannot be built on [3]. The Arroyo Guadalpín runs along the east side and flows most of the year [1,3]. Its seasonal waterfalls give the area its name [1,3].

The Senda de los Monjes trail starts at the top of the enclave. It follows the stream up through pine forest, about 4.5 km out and back [3].

Views face south and west over the bay, to Gibraltar and Morocco on clear days [3,5].

Golf

Golf a short drive away

Monte Paraíso, a 9-hole par-3 course, is on the access road [3]. The full courses of the Golf Valley (Aloha, Las Brisas, Los Naranjos) are about 15 minutes away [3].

Everyday life

Quiet streets. Town ten minutes down.

There are no shops inside the enclave. Groceries, restaurants and services are on the Golden Mile and in Marbella town, about 10 minutes away [3].

Puente Romano, with its tennis club and spa, is about 10 minutes away [3]. Most residents live here all year [3].
