Character
A grid of villas under the mountain
Sierra Blanca sits on the lower slopes of La Concha, directly above the Golden Mile [1,4]. It is often called the upper Golden Mile [3].
It covers about 25 hectares and close to 300 homes, mostly large private villas [1,4]. The streets follow a broad grid, unusual on a hillside [1]. Many are named after composers to confirm.
There are three entrances with barriers and 24-hour security. CCTV covers the area and patrols run day and night [1,2]. By day the barriers are open; at night, visitors must register [1,5].
Villas range from Andalusian-style houses from the 1990s to new contemporary builds [4]. Plot sizes vary; average and range to confirm. Price per m² to confirm.
Green & outdoors
The mountain at the back door
La Concha rises directly behind the community. Views run over the coast to Gibraltar and Morocco on clear days [5].
Cascada de Camoján, a smaller gated enclave, borders it to the east [4]. Trails into the foothills start nearby.
Golf

There is no course inside the area. The Golf Valley of Nueva Andalucía is about 5.4 km away [3].

There are no shops inside. Groceries, restaurants and services are on the Golden Mile and in town, under 10 minutes away [2,3].
